I am thinking that this is the first born owlet, as s/he is the largest. S/he is almost as big as the parents!

THE ALIENS HAVE LANDED
I love baby birds, truly I do, but Barn Owl young are a bit creepy. Thankfully, their face flattens out and they grow up to be gorgeous adults. The Texas parents are successfully raising 5 owlets, so 3 owlets did not survive.
