Little Owl, Netherlands - Originally this nest had four owlets, however, in the past couple of days, two of the owlets have died. I am hoping these two can survive to fledge and leave the nest healthy and strong.

SAD NEWS
Peregrine Falcon, Winnipeg, MB, Canada - Despite efforts to save the three young chicks in this nest, the story did not have a happy ending. This morning Winnipeg was hit with heavy rains and even a valiant attempt by Mom to cover her babies with her wings, was not enough to save them. The falcon nestlings were only 8 days old. RIP little ones.
