Colorado's Great Horned Owls are starting to look like miniatures of their mom.
The owlets' fluffy downy feathers are being replaced by their adult feathers.
Aren't I cute?
The Great Horned Owls at CSUB are starting to make me nervous...
I wish they wouldn't stand on the edge like that!
As the owlets get ready to fledge, they practice flapping their wings a lot! Preparing for their first flight, they will run or jump up and down, while flapping their wings madly.
